IT System Administrator

We are looking for an experienced System Administrator responsible for the administration, maintenance, monitoring, security, and availability of the organization's IT systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, and maintain Windows and Linux servers and enterprise IT systems.
• Monitor system performance, availability, capacity, and overall health.
• Perform system troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and resolution of technical issues.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, security policies, and system configurations.
• Perform system upgrades, patches, updates, and maintenance activities.
• Administer and maintain Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and related services.
• Manage virtualization environments such as VMware, Hyper-V, or equivalent platforms.
• Implement and monitor backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Monitor system logs, alerts, and security events and coordinate with the cybersecurity/SOC team when necessary.
• Ensure systems comply with established security, availability, and operational standards.
• Support system hardening, vulnerability remediation, and security improvement initiatives.
• Maintain system documentation, configuration records, and operational procedures.
• Coordinate with network, database, application, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Provide technical support for system-related incidents and participate in incident management.
• Participate in infrastructure projects, system migrations, upgrades, and implementations.
• Perform regular system health checks and recommend improvements to system performance and reliability.
• Participate in on-call, shifting, or 24/7 support when required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT systems administration, infrastructure, or a similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience in Windows and/or Linux server administration.
• Experience administering Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Knowledge of system backup, restoration, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, networking, firewalls, VPN, DNS, and other basic network services.
• Experience with server monitoring and performance management tools.
• Knowledge of system security, patch management, hardening, and vulnerability remediation.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively with cross-functional technical teams.

Pay: Php50,000.00 - Php60,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
