System Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a Middle System Analyst who will be responsible for analyzing business and system requirements, designing solutions, and collaborating with technical and business teams to support the development and improvement of IT systems.

Requirements

• Minimum D3 / Diploma degree in any major, preferably with relevant experience in IT.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a System Analyst or in an equivalent position within the IT industry.
• Experience in the banking industry is preferred.
• Good understanding of banking business processes and workflows or relevant experience in banking IT systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and SQL .
• Good understanding of system administration, programming concepts, and applications .
• Strong business analysis and analytical thinking skills.
• Able to identify business problems and translate them into technical/system requirements .
• Able to analyze, design, and propose effective IT solutions based on organizational needs.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills .
• Creative and methodical in identifying problems and developing appropriate solutions.
• Able to work collaboratively with business users, developers, and other stakeholders .
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software development processes.
• Familiarity with business process design and improvement is a plus.
• Experience working in an Agile environment is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements .
• Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications .
• Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for system/process improvements .
• Design solutions that meet business and organizational requirements.
• Collaborate with business users, developers, QA, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Support the development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of IT applications.
• Perform SQL queries and data analysis when required to support system analysis and troubleshooting.
• Identify system issues and propose appropriate solutions.
• Prepare and maintain system-related documentation, including requirements, specifications, process flows, and system documentation .
• Participate in software development and improvement projects .
• Ensure proposed solutions align with business requirements and organizational IT standards.
