IT System & Support Administrator

EMEA Recruitment is supporting an international organisation in its search for an interim IT System & Support Administrator to join its team in Rotterdam .

This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced IT professional who enjoys being the person people come to when they need something fixed. You will have the support of a wider centralised IT team, while taking ownership of the day-to-day IT environment on site.

Key responsibilities of the IT System & Support Administrator:

• Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to users on site, including senior stakeholders and C-Suite
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, laptops, screens and connectivity issues
• Manage and resolve tickets through ServiceNow
• Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory and user access
• Manage IT assets, equipment and hardware lifecycle
• Support onboarding and offboarding, including equipment and access requirements
• Maintain meeting rooms, AV equipment and office IT infrastructure
• Support basic network and Wi-Fi troubleshooting
• Work closely with the central IT team on permissions, security and more technical issues
• Support office moves, new equipment installations and workplace IT setups
• Help organise and maintain IT equipment on site
• Support IT rollouts, improvements and other projects as required

Candidate profile:

• Strong knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365
• Experience with Active Directory / Azure AD
• Experience using ServiceNow or a similar IT service management platform
• Experienced IT Support / IT Systems professional with strong hands-on support experience
• Previous experience supporting users on site, ideally within an international environment
• Comfortable supporting senior stakeholders and C-Suite users
• Good understanding of networking, Wi-Fi and general connectivity troubleshooting
• Experience with IT asset management and equipment lifecycle
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of issues
• Practical, approachable and able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users
• Fluent Dutch would be advantageous
• Must already have the relevant right-to-work / permits for the Netherlands
