IT System Engineer Citrix / SQL

Your job in a nutshell:

• You ensure the availability, performance and reliability of business-critical systems, with a strong focus on Citrix, VMware, SQL, Azure and backup technologies
• You proactively maintain, monitor and optimize our global IT infrastructure through updates, patching, backups and preventive maintenance activities, ensuring maximum uptime and minimal disruption
• You quickly identify, analyze and resolve complex technical issues and infrastructure incidents, while managing SQL databases and maintaining their performance, integrity and availability
• You perform health checks and system assessments, identify risks and improvement opportunities, and stay up to date with emerging technologies to continuously enhance our IT landscape
• You participate in infrastructure projects, migrations and technology implementations, contributing to automation initiatives, process improvements and operational excellence
• You create and maintain technical documentation, procedures and reports, while collaborating closely with Service Desk, Security, Infrastructure and Application teams worldwide
• You ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards and best practices, and support planned maintenance activities when required

Required:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an IT System Engineer, IT Generalist, Infrastructure Engineer, IT Support Engineer or a similar role
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
• Strong technical knowledge of VMware, Citrix, Microsoft Azure, backup technologies and SQL/database environments
• Proven ability to manage, maintain and troubleshoot enterprise IT infrastructure
