Job description

You are going to join the Financial Technology Department (FTD) of BOC Paris Branch as an IT System Support Engineer on a temporary basis (CDD). Ideal for recent graduates or those seeking their first professional experience.

1. Support the Implementation of Key Infrastructure and IT Projects

• Disaster Recovery (DR) Site Project: Participate in the deployment, environment configuration, and integration testing of the new resilience infrastructure; assist with system switchover exercises to ensure business continuity.
• VDI Upgrade Project: Actively participate in the technical migration and architectural upgrade of the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI); handle user feedback collection, provide technical support, and troubleshoot issues during the production phase.

2. Provide Technical Support for Strategic and Group Policies

• Overseas Core Strategic Project: Provide technical support, conduct routine follow-ups, and monitor deployment activities during the critical launch phases of international core banking systems.
• Key Projects: Assist with the technical implementation, parameter configuration, and localization of specific directives initiated by Head Office.

3. Cross-Departmental Collaboration

• Communicate technical progress, infrastructure status, and risk analysis effectively to other departments and relevant stakeholders.

Your qualifications are :

• Graduated in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Electronic Information Engineering Bac+5 / Master / Diplôme d'Ingénieur
• Fluent in Chinese and English, with strong written and spoken communication skills
• Programming & Frameworks : Strong proficiency in Python or shell scripting.
• Data & Infrastructure : Good knowledge of data pipelines (ETL), SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Systems & Automation : Ability to automate banking data workflows, conduct system migrations, and perform infrastructure monitoring/troubleshooting.
• Financial Awareness : Basic understanding of banking operations, data security, risk management, or transaction systems.
