About the Role
My client is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to manage day-to-day IT operations, support employees and improve the reliability, security and efficiency of its technology environment. This is a hands-on role offering the opportunity to take ownership of IT systems and drive improvements across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on IT support across hardware, software, user accounts and access issues.
• Manage laptop configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Administer business applications, cloud platforms, licences and subscriptions.
• Coordinate external IT providers, vendors and technical support.
• Maintain IT security, access controls and operational best practices.
• Support system upgrades, application improvements and technology projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows through automation and emerging technologies, including AI.

Your Experience

• Experience in IT Support, Systems Administration or IT Systems Engineering.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows, hardware, software and business applications.
• Experience with user administration, cloud platforms and IT security.
• Ability to manage vendors and external service providers.
• Exposure to system upgrades, implementations or data migrations.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to support non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to take ownership and recommend improvements.
