Job Overview

We are looking for a technically skilled and proactive IT Systems & Linux Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Linux systems, SQL databases, API integrations, and networking fundamentals.

This role involves maintaining IT infrastructure, troubleshooting technical issues, supporting system integrations, and using automation and AI tools to improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot Linux servers and systems.
• Develop and maintain shell scripts to automate routine tasks.
• Manage Linux configurations, permissions, packages, and system updates.
• Write and execute SQL/MySQL queries for data retrieval, analysis, and database maintenance.
• Support API integrations and troubleshoot connectivity or authentication issues.
• Diagnose basic networking issues involving IP addresses, DNS, routers, switches, and ports.
• Assist with VoIP systems and troubleshoot basic connectivity issues.
• Leverage AI development tools to assist with coding, debugging, documentation, and automation.
• Identify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability, and efficiency.

Requirements

• APIs (Basic–Intermediate): Understanding of API requests, responses, authentication, and integrations.
• Linux Server Administration (Intermediate): Experience maintaining Linux servers, troubleshooting, and shell scripting.
• Linux Distributions (Intermediate): Knowledge of system configurations, package management, permissions, and command-line operations.
• SQL/MySQL (Intermediate): Ability to write queries, analyze data, and safely modify database records.
• Networking (Basic–Intermediate): Understanding of routers, switches, IP addressing, DNS, and ports.
• VoIP (Basic): Familiarity with VoIP technologies and basic troubleshooting.
• AI Development Tools (Intermediate): Experience using AI-assisted tools for coding, debugging, and workflow automation, including validating generated output.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a technical team.
• Good English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in an IT services, telecommunications, or managed services environment.
• Familiarity with server monitoring, system security, and backup procedures.
• Experience with automation and technical documentation.
