IT Systems & Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Systems & Support Engineer to join our technical team. This role will provide hands-on technical support and systems administration across client environments, requiring strong knowledge of Windows, Active Directory, networking, endpoint management, security, and RMM tools. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who can work independently, manage multiple technical issues, and provide excellent support to both technical and non-technical users.

Key responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 technical support and troubleshooting across client environments
• Administer and maintain Windows operating systems and Active Directory/LDAP
• Manage user accounts, authentication, access, and permissions
• Configure and troubleshoot TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, networking, and related infrastructure
• Monitor and maintain endpoints, servers, and systems using RMM and monitoring tools
• Perform system patching, antivirus management, and other security-related activities
• Assist with firewall maintenance, configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting
• Perform OS installations, upgrades, software deployment, and system maintenance
• Develop and maintain scripts to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency
• Troubleshoot PCs, laptops, mobile devices, and other IT hardware

About you

• 2+ years of experience in IT Support, Systems Administration, Infrastructure Support, or a related role
• Strong hands-on experience with Windows and Active Directory/LDAP
• Solid knowledge of networking, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, and troubleshooting
• Experience with endpoint support and management
• Knowledge of IT security, antivirus, patching, firewalls, and system monitoring
• Experience with RMM or remote monitoring tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
