IT Systems Engineer

We are looking for an experienced System Engineer to join our IT Workplace and End Users team. The role focuses on the administration, support, and continuous improvement of the Microsoft end user environment, ensuring high availability, security, and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will be responsible for both project delivery and Level 2 support activities while contributing to the modernization of workplace and cloud technologies within an international company environment.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Maintain and support Microsoft workplace services, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
• Provide Level 2 support, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive root cause analysis.
• Administer and manage Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure, Windows 11, and Group Policies.
• Monitor system health and implement continuous improvements to enhance user experience.
• Execute infrastructure changes in line with change management processes.
• Manage endpoint lifecycle activities, including device deployment, compliance, and patch management.
• Package, test, deploy, and maintain software applications using SCCM and modern management tools.
• Support operating system deployments, software distribution, and endpoint management processes.
• Participate in workplace modernization, cloud migration, and technology transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable IT solutions.

Your Skills and Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SCCM (Configuration Manager).
• Experience in application packaging and software deployment.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft 365 and Active Directory administration
• Experience managing and troubleshooting Group Policies (GPOs).
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune.
• Experience administering Microsoft Azure environments.
• Knowledge of enterprise printing solutions and troubleshooting.
• Experience with endpoint management, patch management, and software distribution.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft security and compliance best practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop, Powershell, Microsoft Defender and virtualization platforms would be an asset.
• Fluency in English. German would be an asset
