Job Description

We are looking for an experienced IT Systems Manager to lead and oversee the technology ecosystem supporting a premium nightlife and entertainment venue in Bali.

The role will be responsible for IT infrastructure, systems, security, technology operations, vendor management, and technology strategy , ensuring that all systems remain reliable, secure, scalable, and aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall IT infrastructure, systems, network, servers, and security operations .
• Develop and execute IT strategy, infrastructure roadmap, and technology initiatives aligned with business objectives.
• Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and highly available IT systems .
• Oversee network, server, virtualization, storage, backup, monitoring, and disaster recovery environments.
• Manage and coordinate IT projects, system integrations, and technology implementations .
• Oversee integrations across POS, CRM, accounting, ticketing, CCTV, AV, web platforms, and other venue technology systems .
• Establish and maintain IT security policies, standards, access controls, and risk management practices .
• Monitor system performance, availability, capacity, and security.
• Lead incident management and ensure timely resolution of critical infrastructure issues.
• Identify opportunities for automation, AI/ML, and technology innovation to improve operational efficiency.
• Manage relationships with vendors, technology partners, and external service providers .
• Lead, mentor, and develop the IT infrastructure/system team.
• Prepare IT budgets, resource plans, and technology investment proposals.
• Ensure proper documentation, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
• Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams to ensure technology supports business growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering , or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Systems, Network, or IT Operations , with at least 3 years in a leadership/managerial role .
• Proven experience managing IT infrastructure within high-availability, high-traffic environments , such as hospitality, entertainment, retail, or technology companies.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure, MikroTik RouterOS, routing, VLAN, firewall, QoS, and high-density Wi-Fi .
• Strong experience with server management, Proxmox VE, virtualization, Docker, and high-availability environments .
• Strong knowledge of storage, backup, disaster recovery, Synology NAS, RAID, and cloud redundancy .
• Experience with Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana , or similar monitoring and observability platforms.
• Understanding of cybersecurity, network hardening, endpoint security, cloud security, and data privacy .
• Experience managing IT vendors, budgets, projects, and technology implementations .
• Experience integrating POS, CRM, accounting, ticketing, CCTV, AV, web platforms, or other business systems is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of AI/ML or computer vision applications is a plus.
• Familiarity with Dante audio networking, DMX lighting, and IP-based CCTV systems is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to make decisions independently and manage IT operations under pressure.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays .
• Willing to relocate to Bali, Indonesia .
