Overview:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT Systems Support Analyst to join an established organisation, supporting the development, integration and continuous improvement of business-critical systems.

This is a varied, hands-on role combining IT systems support, business process improvement, systems integration and technical project delivery. You will work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation, improve operational efficiency and deliver technology solutions that support business objectives.

The successful candidate will have a broad technical background, strong problem-solving skills and experience working across business systems, databases and IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse existing business processes, identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements through technology and automation.
• Support the development, integration and optimisation of business-critical IT systems.
• Gather business requirements, map existing processes and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Improve system integrations, data flows and workflows to reduce manual processes and enhance operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain operational reporting, dashboards and management information using SQL, Power BI or similar tools.
• Lead and contribute to IT projects, including requirements gathering, design, testing, implementation and deployment.
• Support Microsoft 365 environments, including Azure, Entra ID, SharePoint and Exchange Online.
• Support IT infrastructure, networking, security, system resilience and disaster recovery initiatives.

Skills & Experience:

• Experience in an IT Systems Support Analyst, IT Systems Analyst, Systems Engineer or similar technical role.
• Strong understanding of IT systems, business applications, systems integration and process improvement.
• Experience supporting and improving business-critical systems and delivering technical solutions.
• Knowledge of SQL, relational databases, data management and reporting tools such as Power BI.
• Experience contributing to IT projects, system enhancements or technology implementations.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows environments and general IT infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Azure, Entra ID, SharePoint and Exchange Online would be advantageous.
• Understanding of networking, IT security, backups and disaster recovery processes.
