We value teamwork, reliability, and long‑term relationships within our workforce, and pride ourselves on delivering dependable service and quality products our customers can rely on.
Role Overview
Love solving problems, improving systems, and building the spreadsheets everyone relies on?
If you're the person people turn to when they need a smarter way of working, this could be the perfect next step.
We're looking for someone to join our small, friendly technology team to help support the systems that keep our warehouse, distribution, sales, and finance teams running smoothly. While you'll occasionally deal with IT issues such as password resets or printer problems, this is far from a traditional helpdesk role.
Instead, you'll spend most of your time working closely with colleagues across the business, understanding how they operate, identifying opportunities for improvement, and helping deliver solutions that make their jobs easier and more efficient.
Reporting to the Head of Technology & Data, you'll receive hands-on support and training as you learn our systems and processes. As your knowledge and confidence grow, you'll take ownership of your own projects, from identifying improvements through to delivering real business impact.
What You’ll Be Doing
· Becoming a go-to person for resolving issues across our order processing, warehouse, stock, and finance systems
· Building meaningful reports and dashboards that help teams make better decisions
· Identifying opportunities to improve processes and reduce reliance on manual spreadsheets
· Testing new system features and updates before they're rolled out across the business
· Creating straightforward guides and providing support to help colleagues get the most from our systems
· Taking increasing ownership of projects and business improvement initiatives as you develop in the role
· Occasionally helping with general IT support, although this is not a traditional helpdesk position
What We're Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
· Experience working within a warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or food production environment
· Confident using business systems such as ERP, WMS, stock management, or accounting software (for example, Sage 200)
· Strong Excel skills, including the use of pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis tools
· A naturally curious and proactive approach, with the confidence to investigate problems and find practical solutions
· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and patiently to colleagues at all levels
· A genuine interest in technology, systems, data, and continuous improvement
Desirable Skills (Don't Worry, We Can Teach You)
· Experience with Power Query and/or Power BI
· Basic SQL knowledge
· Exposure to Power Apps or Power Automate
Is this you? You might be:
· A warehouse, logistics, or operations administrator who has become the go-to person for systems and process support
· A stock controller, inventory analyst, or data-focused team member who enjoys creating reports and turning data into useful insights
· An early-career systems, technology, or data professional who wants a role that combines technology with hands-on operational experience
