IT Systems Technician I Temp

Please note that this is a Temporary role for about 4-6 months or longer depending on business needs.

• Provide technical support for Tier 1 Tickets.
• Record, track, and document the help desk request problem solving process including actions taken through to the final resolution.
• Create documentation for staff for training purposes.
• Assist in AV setups as needed for meetings.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintain physical inventory of IT hardware and software.
• Repair and replace broken equipment.
• Ensure physical security of all equipment.
• Support desktop hardware, software, and applications.
• Perform technology needs analysis.
• Coordinate Operating System image creations based on business, reflecting IT standards.
• Implement and support the computing infrastructure plan.
• Assist with technology planning through ongoing research.

Experience

Required

• Prefer at least 2 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry Proven experience as IT Technician or relevant position Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• CompTIA A+ Certified, Associates degree or equivalent technical school education with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least 2 years of experience with Microsoft Windows Active Directory in a corporate environment Excellent communication ability Outstanding organizational and time-management skills In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
