IT Team Leader

The Function Purpose:

Information Technology Audit Team Leader, Assist the Bank in achieving its objectives through a systematic and organized approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and control processes, and provide reasonable and objective assurance aimed at adding value and improving operations and activities.

Main Responsibilities:

• Participate in developing the audit plan in coordination with the Audit Manager and perform and document audit assignments.

• Actively participate in auditing the Bank’s various systems and provide support and consultation to team members.

• Participate in investigating high-risk issues to ensure their resolution and prevent recurrence in the future.

• Organize and arrange audit work in accordance with the approved audit plan.

• Review and understand approved instructions and procedures for the Bank’s different departments and understand the details of related operations and automated systems.

• Identify weaknesses in internal control and oversight systems and determine the associated risks.

• Provide recommendations on enhancing internal control and oversight systems to prevent recurrence of similar issues, and discuss them directly with the audit manager.

• Prepare audit findings and reports and discuss them directly with the Auditee before submitting them to the Audit Manager.

• Promptly notify the Audit Manager of any findings or indications involving high risks and recommend appropriate corrective actions.

• Train new employees on the skills and tools required to perform audit assignments efficiently.

• Reports to the Audit Manager.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• 7–10 years of relevant experience in IT audit, information security, or technology risk, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or team-lead role.

• Banking or financial services experience is strongly preferred; exposure to internal audit, external audit, or consulting is desirable.

• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills, with the ability to present to senior management and the Audit Committee.
