The Opportunity

As an IT Tech 2, you will own a mix of technical support, project work, and onsite client engagement. You will be the go-to technical resource for Microsoft 365, identity, and email systems, helping clients modernize and secure their environments while keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly.

This role is a strong next step if you have experience in an MSP or similar environment, enjoy variety in your work, and want more responsibility, autonomy, and direct client impact. You will work across cloud, security, and infrastructure, with clear paths to grow into advanced infrastructure, cloud, and cybersecurity initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot and resolve Microsoft 365 issues (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) so client teams stay productive and connected.
• Administer and maintain Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID, including user and group management, MFA, and Conditional Access Policies.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot email systems and security, including mail flow, DNS (MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC), and third-party email filtering and backup platforms.
• Monitor and maintain client environments using RMM tools, handling patch management, alerts, and remediation while documenting your work clearly.
• Provide both remote and onsite support, taking ownership of issues and project tasks from initial request through resolution while building trust with clients.

What Success Looks Like

• Within your first year, you are the primary Microsoft 365 and email systems resource for a set of clients, resolving most issues independently and escalating only complex edge cases.
• Client environments under your care show improved stability and security, with up-to-date patches, well-configured MFA and Conditional Access, and fewer recurring tickets.
• Projects you contribute to, such as tenant setups, migrations, or security rollouts, are delivered on time with clear communication, accurate documentation, and minimal disruption to users.
• Clients and teammates consistently describe you as responsive, reliable, and proactive, trusting you to manage priorities and see issues through to full resolution.

What We're Looking For

• Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Active Directory, and Microsoft Entra ID, including MFA and Conditional Access Policies.
• Solid systems administration background with Windows 11 and Windows Server, including file shares, NTFS permissions, and least-privilege security practices.
• Experience using RMM tools for monitoring, alerting, patch management, documentation, and basic scripting or automation, with a track record of owning issues from start to finish.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly, manage expectations, and build lasting client relationships.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary up to $100,000 based on experience
