IT Technical Intern

We are looking for an IT Technical Support Intern who is eager to gain hands-on experience in IT operations, technical support, and system maintenance. The intern will assist the IT team in troubleshooting hardware and software concerns, supporting employees with technical issues, maintaining IT records, and participating in various IT-related projects.

What You'll Do

· Assist in troubleshooting desktop, laptop, printer, and other hardware issues.

· Provide basic technical support to employees and assist in resolving IT concerns.

· Assist with software installation, configuration, and updates.

· Support network troubleshooting, monitoring, and basic configuration tasks.

· Help maintain IT asset inventories, records, and technical documentation.

· Assist in setting up and maintaining computers, peripherals, and other IT equipment.

· Participate in IT projects, system maintenance, and process improvement initiatives.

· Perform other IT-related tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

· Currently enrolled in BS Information Technology, BS Computer Science, BS Computer Engineering, BS Electronics Engineering, or related courses.

· Has basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and troubleshooting.

· Familiar with basic networking concepts such as TCP/IP, routers, switches, Wi-Fi, and LAN.

· Knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.

· Familiarity with PC assembly, hardware installation, and basic maintenance is an advantage.

· Basic knowledge of software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

· Organized and attentive to documentation and record-keeping.

· Good communication and problem-solving skills.

· Willing to learn and work collaboratively with the IT team.

· Can render the required OJT/internship hours required by the school.
