IT Technical Support

Job Responsibilities:

• Install and configure POS hardware, including terminals, receipt printers, barcode scanners, cash drawers, and payment devices.
• Set up network connections, peripherals, and other related equipment.
• Ensure all equipment is installed according to company guidelines.
• Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure hardware reliability and minimize downtime.
• Respond to hardware support tickets and troubleshoot issues both on-site and remotely.
• Repair or replace malfunctioning hardware components as needed.
• Provide prompt solutions to hardware failures, connectivity issues, and system errors.
• Collaborate with software support teams to resolve issues that may span both hardware and software systems.
• Normal Weekday Shift (Monday - Friday) / 9am to 6.30pm
• Scheduled Weekend Shift (Saturday - Wednesday) / 9am to 6.30pm
• After Hours support on a rotating roster

Job Requirements:

• Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting POS hardware systems.
• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advance/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent.
• Have experience in hardware support, preferably in the retail or POS industry will be an added advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and POS software.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM2,600.00 per month
