About the role

We are seeking two IT Technical Support / Operators to join our growing support team in West Jakarta. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our clients' IT systems and infrastructure. As an IT Technical Support / Operator, you will be the first point of contact for technical issues, providing timely assistance and resolving problems to minimise downtime and ensure business continuity. This role is essential to our commitment to delivering exceptional service and support to our clients.

What you'll be doing

• Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email and ticketing systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software and network-related issues
• Install, configure and maintain IT equipment including computers, printers and peripherals
• Monitor system performance and IT infrastructure to identify potential issues before they impact users
• Maintain accurate documentation of support tickets and technical solutions in the knowledge base
• Assist with user account management, password resets and access control
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including software updates, patches and system backups
• Escalate complex technical issues to senior technical staff or relevant departments when necessary
• Provide technical guidance and training to end-users on software and hardware usage
• Support the deployment of new systems and equipment to client sites

What we're looking for

• Completed secondary education; formal IT qualifications or certifications (such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent) are highly desirable
• Proven experience in IT technical support, help desk or similar role, ideally in a business environment
• Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems
• Practical experience with network troubleshooting and basic networking concepts
• Familiarity with common IT hardware such as desktops, laptops, printers and networking equipment
• Experience with ticketing systems and service desk software
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work methodically through technical issues
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
• Patience and a customer-service oriented mindset
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliability and strong time management skills
