IT Technical Support Specialist

Job Description: The Technical Support Specialist I delivers advanced, end-to-end technical support across users, systems, and devices, and serves as a key point of contract for the daily operations of the Management Information System Department. The role independently diagnoses and resolves complex hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues, provides in-depth support for Microsoft 365 and other business-critical applications, and drives continues improvement of IT operations, processes, and documentation. The Technical Support Specialist I maintains IT records, asset inventory, and service reporting standards, escalating only the most critical issues while ensuring timely resolution of service requests and consistently excellent customer service.

• Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s/ College degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Science or related programs.
• At least 1-3 year's of working experience in the field
• Strong working Knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11)
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, One drive, Share point).
• Solid working knowledge of networking with the ability to troubleshoot common connectivity issues (LAN,WiFi, VPN, IP, DNS)
• Familiarity with printers, email systems, and standard business applications.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of IT asset inventory management is an advantage.
