IT Technical Writer (Junior)

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Technical Writer or Business Analyst in technology, software development, or digital product environments.
• Experience in creating and maintaining Functional Specification Documents (FSD), API Documentation, and System Documentation.
• Fluent in English

Technical Skills

• Understanding of technical concepts related to APIs, including REST/JSON, SOAP, and similar technologies, as well as request and response formats, data types, object and list structures, and database schemas (Primary Key and Foreign Key).
• Familiarity with API documentation and testing tools such as Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, Redoc, or equivalent tools.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of SQL queries for data verification is a plus.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.

Documentation & Writing Skills

• Proven ability to create clear, well-structured, consistent, and professional technical documentation in accordance with IT standards.
• Ability to produce documentation that can be easily understood by both technical audiences (Developers, QA, Engineers) and non-technical stakeholders (Product, Business, and Clients).
• Ability to work with templates and style guides to maintain consistency and standardization across documentation.

Soft Skills

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions, including Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Engineering teams.
• Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proactive in gathering and validating information to ensure documentation remains accurate, complete, and up to date.
