IT Technician

We are a Managed Service Provider (MSP) seeking a skilled and motivatedIT Technician to join our team. Ready to make an impact with a growing company? The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving IT systems for multiple clients. This position requires a problem solver with strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for technology and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, networks, and peripherals for multiple clients.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues remotely and on-site in a timely manner.
• Manage system security, backups, and updates across multiple environments.
• Provide technical support and training to client staff as needed.
• Monitor system performance and implement necessary upgrades.
• Assist in setting up and managing IT infrastructure for new and existing client locations.
• Maintain detailed documentation of IT assets, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Work within ticketing systems to track and resolve client issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with other IT professionals to develop and implement best practices for client IT environments.
• Deliver high-quality customer service by maintaining professionalism and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their IT needs and provide appropriate solutions.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience working for an MSP or in IT support, networking, or system administration.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, MacOS, and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with networking protocols, hardware, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with cloud-based systems, cybersecurity best practices, and remote monitoring tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or within a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients.
• Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service and build client relationships.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) are a plus.

Schedule:

• 8-hour shifts.
• Monday -Friday
• Rotating Weekends

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
