IT TECHNICIAN

Job Title: IT Technician1. Job Responsibilities

1.1 Technical Support

• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.

1.2 Device Installation and Maintenance

• Install, configure, maintain, and repair desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals.

1.3 Troubleshooting

• Diagnose and resolve system errors, network problems, and connectivity issues.

1.4 User Support

• Assist employees with software usage, user account setup, email configuration, and general IT enquiries.

1.5 IT Asset Management

• Maintain and update the inventory of IT equipment, hardware, and software licences.

1.6 Data Backup and Security

• Perform routine data backups and software updates, and ensure compliance with IT security procedures.

1.7 Documentation and Reporting

• Record IT support requests, troubleshooting activities, solutions, and equipment maintenance logs.

1.8 Vendor Coordination

• Liaise with external IT service providers regarding technical issues, warranty claims, and advanced technical support.

2. Scope of Work

2.1 Coverage

• Provide IT support to all employees across departments, both on-site and remotely when required.

2.2 Systems and Equipment

• Support Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft 365, email systems, antivirus software, network infrastructure, and other company IT systems.

2.3 Work Environment

• Work under the supervision of senior IT personnel while independently handling routine IT support and maintenance tasks.

2.4 Compliance and Data Protection

• Maintain data confidentiality, system integrity, and information security while adhering to company IT policies and procedures.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,400.00 per month

Work Location: In person
