Role & responsibilities

Test Planning

• Create and maintain appropriate project documentation, including: • Create and maintain test aspects of project plans given business requirements, technical specifications, performance testing, management assigned staff responsibilities and external vendor/customer deliverables. • Contribute to project risk assessment, risk tracking items and risk mitigation actions. • Create and maintain Requirement Traceability matric • Work with team members to define and estimate testing deliverables and tasks • Plan and adjust to changes in project scope, schedule and costs. • Report and escalate to management as needed. • Track project execution, specifically percent system test complete through analysis of total test cases planned versus test cases executed. • Track successful and failed test cases execution. • Establish testing sign off criteria based on Severity, Priority and Count of the defects found during the testing process • Communicate and assist business stakeholders in UAT Review by providing access as well as testing artefacts for the testing carried out. • Contribute to Change Request (CR) evaluation, resolution plans and scheduling activities Test Execution • Define business deliverable quality verification approaches and document test cases. Business deliverables include requirements specifications, logic/process flows, architecture goals, user interfaces, business processes and executable software. • Coordinates their own efforts and the efforts of assigned team members. • Provide progress and issue tracking Team Management • Lead a QA team of 3 4 test executives who will be responsible for end to end testing of application enhancements and bug fixes • Cooperate with team members and stakeholders to meet goals and complete tasks. Provide support to ensure functions are efficiently performed in a quality-oriented and disciplined manner • Coordinate with Vendors to understand technical specifications, following up for fixing of bugs found during testing and obtaining test artefacts for all testing carried out for an enhancement/ bug fix at Vendor’s end
