IT Trainer

Job Title: IT Trainer / Computer Skill Trainer (DTP & Data Entry)

Location: Howrah, West Bengal

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹17,000 - ₹20,000 CTC per month

Job Description: We are seeking 2 experienced and passion-driven IT Trainers to join our team at the Howrah Skill Development Centre. The candidates will be responsible for delivering hands-on and theoretical computer training to students pursuing vocational careers under government skill development initiatives (such as PBSSD).

Key Responsibilities:

• Training Delivery: Conduct interactive practical and theory sessions on computer fundamentals, operating systems, office automation tools, and professional typing.
• Software Training: Deliver comprehensive training on MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), basic DTP applications, and internet/networking concepts.
• Practical Lab Management: Supervise regular lab sessions, manage computer systems and peripherals, and ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Student Assessment & Support: Monitor individual student progress, conduct regular assessments, and clear technical doubts.
• Placement Assistance: Conduct mock interviews, build professional resumes, and prepare candidates for successful placement in office administration and IT-enabled roles.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Education: BCA, B.Sc. in Computer Science/IT, or Graduation in any stream with a Diploma in Computer Application/Science.
• Experience: 1–3 years of core experience in computer operations/IT training OR prior teaching experience in vocational skill development programs (e.g., PBSSD, DDU-GKY, PMKVY).
• Skills: Strong knowledge in MS Excel, DTP tools, good communication skills, and effective presentation abilities.
• Location Preference: Candidates residing in or near Howrah will be preferred.
• Availability: Immediate joiners preferred.
