What they need
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues for IT equipment (computers, laptops, printers, network devices, etc.)
- Repair or replace defective components (such as motherboards, hard drives, RAM, etc.), using workstation (Blower / hot air equipment)
- Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on IT hardware
- Test repaired equipment for proper functionality
- Document all repairs, maintenance actions, and inventory changes in the system
- Prepare devices for remarketing by ensuring they are fully functional and ready for resale
- Capture data information into settlement report, offsite data wipe and operate machines
- Provide technical support and guidance to staff when necessary
- Maintain an inventory of spare parts and ensure availability for repair needs
- Work to improve repair processes for efficiency
