Key Responsibilities

• Write engaging content about Italian cuisine, menu items, and dining experiences.
• Create clear and appealing menu descriptions for food and beverage offerings.
• Develop website copy, blog articles, and restaurant-related editorial content.
• Prepare promotional materials for seasonal menus, special events, and restaurant campaigns.
• Write social media captions and digital content to support audience engagement.
• Research Italian culinary traditions, ingredients, cooking techniques, and food culture.
• Maintain consistent brand voice, tone, and messaging across communication channels.
• Proofread and edit content for grammar, clarity, accuracy, and readability.
• Collaborate with restaurant management and marketing team members to gather content requirements.
• Ensure menu descriptions and promotional content accurately reflect approved restaurant information.
• Adapt content for different audiences and digital platforms.
• Support search engine optimization by incorporating relevant keywords naturally.
• Maintain an organized content calendar and meet assigned deadlines.
• Perform additional writing, editing, and content support duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong written communication and storytelling skills.
• Previous content writing, copywriting, journalism, marketing, or editorial experience preferred.
• Excellent grammar, spelling, proofreading, and editing abilities.
• Knowledge of Italian cuisine and food-related terminology is an asset.
• Ability to research topics and verify information before publication.
