Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver structured lessons based on established learning objectives.
• Teach Italian vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, reading, writing, and conversation.
• Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, worksheets, and presentations.
• Incorporate Italian history, traditions, culture, and regional practices into lessons.
• Adapt teaching methods to students’ proficiency levels and learning needs.
• Organize classroom discussions, group activities, and practical language exercises.
• Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, presentations, and examinations.
• Provide constructive feedback and recommend improvement strategies.
• Maintain accurate attendance records, assessment results, and curriculum documentation.
• Review and update instructional materials to improve learning outcomes.
• Use appropriate digital tools and educational resources to support instruction.
• Coordinate with educators and administrative staff on curriculum planning.
• Support language workshops, cultural events, and other educational activities.
• Follow applicable educational guidelines and organizational procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Italian, education, linguistics, curriculum development, or a related field preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Italian and English.
• Previous teaching, tutoring, curriculum development, or training experience is an asset.
• Strong understanding of Italian language instruction and learning principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prepare organized lessons and educational materials.
• Strong assessment, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to motivate students and accommodate different learning styles.
• Professional, dependable, and committed to continuous improvement.
