Duties

• Prepare and assemble a variety of traditional Italian pizzas, ensuring adherence to authentic recipes and presentation standards
• Mix, knead, and shape pizza dough with precision, maintaining consistency in texture and flavor
• Operate kitchen equipment such as pizza ovens, mixers, and slicing tools safely and efficiently
• Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure perfect crusts and toppings every time
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work station following food safety sanitizing procedures
• Collaborate with team members on menu planning to introduce new pizza varieties and seasonal specials
• Assist in food production for catering events or high-volume service periods, ensuring quality control throughout

Requirements

• Proven experience as a pizza maker or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or fine dining setting
• Experience with food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to follow recipes precisely while maintaining flexibility for special requests or dietary needs
• Background in food handling, food production, and high-volume food service operations
• Knowledge of dietary department standards and catering experience is a plus
