Italian Reception Coordinator

Job Summary

Felice Montague is seeking an Italian Reception Coordinator to manage guest arrivals, coordinate reservations, and provide professional hospitality in an Italian dining environment. This role is responsible for welcoming guests, answering inquiries, organizing seating arrangements, and communicating with restaurant staff to ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and provide professional service upon arrival.
• Manage restaurant reservations, telephone inquiries, and walk-in requests.
• Coordinate seating arrangements according to table availability and party size.
• Maintain accurate reservation records and update guest information as needed.
• Communicate with servers, kitchen staff, and management regarding guest needs.
• Provide information about Italian menu selections, dining options, and restaurant policies.
• Monitor waiting lists and provide accurate wait-time estimates.
• Assist with special requests, group bookings, and dining arrangements.
• Respond professionally to guest questions and resolve routine service concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
• Support front-of-house operations during busy dining periods.
• Follow restaurant service standards and hospitality procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous restaurant, reception, or customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Professional appearance and a welcoming attitude.
• Basic computer, reservation system, and POS knowledge preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Reliable attendance and a commitment to guest satisfaction.
