Italian Restaurant Server

Job Summary

Forma Pasta Factory is seeking a friendly, attentive, and customer-focused Italian Restaurant Server to provide excellent dining service and create a welcoming experience for guests. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

As an Italian Restaurant Server, you will greet guests, explain menu options, take food and beverage orders, serve meals, and coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely service. You will also help maintain clean dining areas and support the restaurant team in delivering quality hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and guide them through the dining experience.
• Present menus and explain pasta dishes, ingredients, specials, and available options.
• Answer questions about menu items and communicate dietary requests or food allergies to the kitchen.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the restaurant's ordering system.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
• Check on guests during their meals and respond to additional requests.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared and delivered correctly.
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly arranged tables and dining areas.
• Prepare tables with appropriate silverware, glassware, napkins, and menus.
• Process guest bills and payments accurately when assigned.
• Follow restaurant standards for food safety, sanitation, and customer service.
• Communicate guest feedback or service issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Assist coworkers during busy periods to maintain efficient restaurant operations.
• Complete opening, closing, and side-work duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Previous serving or restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, professional, and customer-oriented attitude.
• Ability to manage multiple tables and tasks in a busy environment.
• Strong attention to detail and order accuracy.
• Ability to work collaboratively with servers, kitchen staff, and management.

• Availability to work scheduled shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Work Environment

The Italian Restaurant Server works in a lively restaurant setting focused on pasta, Italian-inspired dishes, and guest hospitality. The position requires frequent interaction with customers, coordination with kitchen staff, and the ability to remain organized during busy dining periods.
