Your responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for Material & SKU master data domains.
• Partner closely with Global Process Owners and business stakeholders to translate data insights into process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Define and maintain critical data elements, business definitions, business rules, and data quality standards.
• Collaborate with Data Owners and stakeholders to establish, document, and improve governance processes and policies.
• Monitor data quality, identify root causes of data and process issues, and coordinate remediation activities across business and IT teams.
• Review and approve key master data changes, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Manage and continuously enrich the enterprise data catalog and business glossary.
• Establish metadata standards, naming conventions, and stewardship processes.
• Ensure data consistency, lifecycle management, and a single source of truth across systems.
• Support Global Process Owners in process governance, optimization initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.

The experience we're looking for

This is not a transactional master data maintenance role. We are looking for a senior professional who can shape standards, challenge existing processes, collaborate closely with business owners, and use data to drive process improvements across the organization.

Must-have:

• 5+ years of experience in Master Data Management, Data Governance, Data Quality, or Business Process Management.
• Experience working with Material Domains, or other enterprise master data domains.
• Strong experience partnering with business stakeholders and supporting business process owners.
• Experience defining data standards, business rules, governance processes, or operating models.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data ownership, data lifecycle management, and data quality concepts.
• Proven experience identifying root causes and translating data insights into process improvements.
• Hands-on experience with data catalog, metadata management, or MDM solutions (e.g., Microsoft Purview, Profisee).
• Strong analytical skills and experience with data validation, quality monitoring, and process optimization.
• Experience using SQL, Excel, BI tools, or similar technologies to analyze data and support decision-making.
• Fluent English and Polish with strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Nice-to-have

• Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, retail, or supply chain environments
• Experience with Data Catalog or Metadata Management tools (e.g., Microsoft Purview)
• Experience with Master Data Management platforms (e.g., Profisee)
• Practical knowledge of SQL, Power BI, or similar reporting and analytics tools
• Data Governance, CDMP, DAMA, or Data Quality certifications
• Experience supporting or building Data Governance frameworks from the ground up
