Iti Technician

To support the Production and Maintenance departments in operating, inspecting, and maintaining factory machinery under the supervision of senior technicians and engineers, ensuring smooth production, workplace safety, and minimum machine downtime.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Machine Operation: Assist in operating production machinery under the guidance of senior operators and technicians.
2. Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine machine cleaning, lubrication, inspection, and basic maintenance as assigned.
3. Breakdown Support: Assist senior technicians in identifying and resolving mechanical, electrical, and operational problems.
4. Equipment Inspection: Check motors, pumps, conveyors, belts, bearings, sensors, and other machine components relevant to the assigned trade.
5. Production Support: Support production activities to ensure smooth operation and minimize machine stoppages.
6. Tools Handling: Use tools and equipment properly and maintain them in good working condition.
7. Safety Compliance: Follow all factory safety rules, wear required PPE, and comply with safety instructions.
8. Housekeeping: Keep machines, maintenance areas, tools, and workplaces clean and organized.
9. Fault Reporting: Immediately report abnormal machine noise, overheating, leakage, vibration, or any unsafe condition to the supervisor.
10. Maintenance Records: Assist in maintaining preventive maintenance checklists, breakdown reports, and daily activity records.
11. Technical Learning: Learn machine operations, maintenance procedures, SOPs, and troubleshooting techniques from senior staff.

Preferred candidate profile

• ITI qualified candidates in Fitter, Electrician, Mechanical, Welding, Automobile, Electronics, or related trades.
• Freshers are welcome to apply.
• Basic technical knowledge of machines, tools, and equipment.
• Willingness to learn and work under the supervision of senior technicians.
• Good discipline, punctuality, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts and in a manufacturing/production environment.
