IV Technician-RN

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic IV Technician-RN to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for administering intravenous therapies, including IV infusions and injections, as well as IM nutrient boosters while ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety. This position in an outpatient setting provides an exciting opportunity to care for clients in a comforting environment to promote holistic wellness.

Duties

• Perform IV insertions, venipuncture, and catheter care with precision and aseptic technique to ensure patient safety.
• Administer medications via IV infusion, injections, and other vascular access devices following prescribed protocols.
• Monitor patient responses during infusion therapy, adjusting treatment as necessary while managing acute pain or adverse reactions.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Conduct patient assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Educate clients on IV therapy procedures, medication administration, and services offered.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license with current registration; additional certification in IV therapy preferred.
• Proven experience working as an IV Technician or RN required. Applicants with experience in emergency rooms, ICU, pre-op, or infusion nursing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and infection control practices.
• Strong educational skills and willingness to learn about our services and how to position them to the clients.
• Passion for holistic wellness.
• Excellent patient assessment skills combined with the ability to work efficiently.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 20.0 per week
