IV Therapist

About the role

The IV Therapist is responsible for the safe, accurate, and professional administration of intravenous (IV) therapies in accordance with medical protocols, company standards, and regulatory requirements. The role ensures patient safety, proper documentation, excellent patient care, and compliance with clinical and sanitation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Administer IV therapies following approved medical protocols and doctor's orders
• Perform proper patient assessment prior to IV insertion
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and monitoring during and after IV therapy
• Provide post-treatment care instructions and observe for adverse reactions
• Follow strict aseptic techniques and infection control standards
• Ensure proper sanitation of treatment areas, equipment, and tools
• Properly dispose of medical waste per health regulations
• Prepare IV fluids, medications, and supplies accurately
• Accurately complete patient charts, consent forms, and treatment records
• Maintain patient confidentiality and data privacy

About you

• Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered MedTech (RMT) or qualified healthcare professional with IV administration experience
• Excellent interpersonal and patient care skills
• Strong attention to safety, hygiene, and clinic protocols
• Willing to be trained in Manila (3 days - 3 weeks training period)
