Position: IVR Medical Coder

Experience: 3 to 8 Years

Certification: Mandatory CIRCC (Certified Interventional Radiology & Cardiovascular Coder)

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and modifier codes for Interventional Radiology and Cardiovascular procedures.
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines, payer regulations, and documentation requirements.
• Analyze operative reports, physician notes, and diagnostic reports for precise code assignment.
• Identify coding discrepancies and work closely with providers to obtain required clarifications.
• Maintain coding quality and productivity standards as defined by organizational requirements.
• Stay updated on coding guideline changes, reimbursement policies, and industry best practices.

Required Skills:

• 3 to 8 years of hands-on experience in IVR/Interventional Radiology coding.
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular, peripheral vascular, interventional radiology, and endovascular procedures.
• Expertise in ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, modifiers, and medical terminology.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high coding accuracy.
