Nilfisk

Do you want to become an expert in delivering tailored industrial solutions that truly make a difference?
As an IVS Sales Engineer at Nilfisk, you’ll be at the forefront of bridging technical innovation with customer challenges. Based in anywhere in Hungary, you’ll drive long-cycle, consultative sales and help customers across a range of industries implement cutting-edge vacuum and filtration solutions. You’ll travel will be an essential component of this role, including regular visits to our IVS Competence Center in Zocca, Italy.
At Nilfisk, we believe in developing talent for the long term. If you're selected, you'll embark on a continuous learning journey designed to make you a subject matter expert in industrial vacuum solutions.
Do you not know how to take "no" for an answer? Does "maybe" just sound like "not yet" to you?
If cold outreach gives you an adrenaline rush, if you can turn someone's "I'm busy" into a 3-minute pitch on why they shouldn't be, and if every "no" you hear just sounds like "you haven't convinced me yet"... we're looking for you.
<h3>Who You Are</h3>
<ul>
<li>Someone who speaks in numbers and runs on targets</li>
<li>A technical mind who can translate complexity into sales language — a true "interpreter"</li>
<li>Someone who sees every rejection as a signpost pointing to the next opportunity</li>
<li>A believer in the art of turning a cold call into a warm conversation</li>
<li>Someone for whom market share isn't just a slide — it's territory to conquer</li>
</ul>
<h3>What You'll Do</h3>
<ul>
<li>Hunt for new business and uncover opportunities others miss</li>
<li>Translate technical horsepower into "here's exactly how this solves your problem"</li>
<li>Light up the room in demos and handle technical questions on the fly</li>
<li>Work shoulder-to-shoulder with the sales team, blending engineering instinct with sales hustle</li>
<li>Set a new hunting target every month — and beat it</li>
</ul>
<h3>What We Offer</h3>
<ul>
<li>A steep learning curve (but a fun climb)</li>
<li>Mentorship from an experienced sales and engineering team</li>
<li>A culture that rewards results the moment you deliver them</li>
<li>Not your average desk job — this is a real battlefield (but don't worry, there's still coffee breaks)</li>
</ul>
<h3>This Role Isn't for You If:</h3>
<ul>
<li>You think "I'll call them later" counts as a strategy</li>
<li>You're afraid of rejection (you'll get some every day here — you'll get used to it)</li>
<li>You avoid technical details instead of leaning into them</li>
</ul>
