IVVQ Engineer - ALTEN Belgium

The Position

As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a IVVQ Engineer to join our teams and work on client projects located in Herstal . You take ownership of the engineering for the obsolescence, supplier qualification and requirements-based qualifications of the product.

As a IVVQ Engineer , your main responsibilities will include:

• Carry out IVVQ activities on electronic equipment for the product.
• Derive qualification tests from safety requirements and run them for different configuration.
• Support obsolescence management: requalify replaced components and boards.
• Qualify suppliers: supplier visits and test campaigns, roughly every 3 months.
• Prepare and run lab tests: PCB-level hardware tests, HIL benches, test scripts in C / Python.
• Own test results and reporting (IVVQ owns results); interface with the software team, which owns software V&V.

Your profile

• You hold a Master of Industrial Engineer, Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering (electronics orientation) or an equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of IVVQ on electronic equipment, at hardware level.
• You have done hands-on lab testing: PCB/board-level tests, debugging and test setups.
• You have done hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing.
• You have tested software in C and Python (scripts, automation, bench control).
• You have experience in a certified or safety-critical sector: aerospace / defence (DO-178) or rail.
• You have done qualification tests from safety requirements, and reporting results.
• You speak French or English at a professional level.
