J2EE Backend Development (Java v8,11,17) – Senior Programmer Analyst

Description We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Programmer Analyst to join our team. A key initiative to modernize Java-based microservices, including framework upgrades, authentication & authorization, and API hardening. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on Java/Spring Boot skills and a willingness to learn cloud-based environments in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

• Experience should have 3+ yrs to 5 yrs of J2EE backend development.
• Hands-on development experience in Java (8/11/17), Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Experience implementing authentication & authorization features (OAuth2, JWT) within APIs.
• Solid knowledge of OOP concepts and design patterns for developing scalable applications.
• Experience with relational (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) databases.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Must have experience writing unit and integration tests using JUnit, Jest.
• Exposure to secrets management and cloud/container basics (Kubernetes, AWS, GCP) is a plus.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to development best practices.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
• Should have good oral and written communication.
• Should be a good team player.
• Should be proactive and adaptive.
