Jacket Lifting Supervisor

Job Purpose:

To oversee and supervise lifting, rigging, and handling activities during the construction and erection of a Wellhead Platform Jacket. The role will be responsible for ensuring that all lifting operations are safely, efficiently, and systematically executed in accordance with project requirements, approved procedures, and applicable international standards.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Construction, HSE, Structural, Mechanical, Piping, and E&I teams, as well as EPC contractors and subcontractors, to ensure safe and effective execution of lifting activities within a large construction yard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily lifting and rigging activities and ensure safe execution.
• Review and approve lifting plans, methodologies, risk assessments, and lifting calculations.
• Monitor critical and complex lifting operations.
• Verify crane, lifting equipment, rigging accessories, and personnel certifications.
• Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements and applicable international standards.
• Participate in toolbox talks, lifting audits, inspections, and post-lift reviews.
• Provide technical lifting support to Construction, HSE, Structural, Mechanical, Piping and E&I teams.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors and subcontractors to ensure lifting activities meet project requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 15+ years’ experience, including 10+ years in major EPC/EPCIC projects.
• Strong experience in large construction yards, offshore structures, jackets, or platforms.
• Relevant certifications such as LCP/LOLER Competent Person, OPITO Banksman/Slinger, Rigger, Rigging Loft Management, and Lifting Equipment Inspection.
• Strong knowledge of LOLER, ISO, EN, API and Oil & Gas lifting standards.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; PRODOM/MANASA experience is an advantage.
• English proficiency required.
• Valid H2S and T-BOSIET certification.
