Janitor

SFM Services is looking for reliable and hardworking Janitors to join our growing team. We have full-time and part-time opportunities available at multiple locations throughout Miami-Dade and Broward Counties, including Miami, Doral, Miami Beach, Medley, Coral Gables, Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, and surrounding areas.

Our Janitors play an important role in maintaining clean, safe, and professional environments for our commercial, industrial, healthcare, and other clients.

Position, Location & Hourly Rate

Because we have opportunities at multiple locations, the position, work location, schedule, responsibilities, and hourly rate may vary depending on the assignment.

During the hiring process, we consider the candidate's current location, experience, availability, and work preferences to determine which available opportunity may be the best fit.

Schedule

Both full-time and part-time positions may be available. Schedules and shifts vary depending on the location and assignment.

Essential Job Functions

Janitorial duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors.
• Cleaning and maintaining restrooms, break rooms, kitchens, and common areas.
• Removing trash and replacing liners.
• Dusting and cleaning furniture, walls, doors, glass, and other surfaces.
• Restocking supplies.
• Reporting maintenance or safety issues to the Supervisor.
• Following established cleaning, safety, and security procedures.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
• Must successfully complete a criminal background check and drug test.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Funciones Esenciales

Las funciones de Janitorial pueden incluir, entre otras:

• Barrer, aspirar y trapear pisos.
• Limpiar y mantener baños, áreas de descanso, cocinas y áreas comunes.
• Retirar basura y reemplazar bolsas.
• Limpiar muebles, paredes, puertas, vidrios y otras superficies.
• Reponer suministros.
• Reportar problemas de mantenimiento o seguridad al Supervisor.
• Cumplir con los procedimientos establecidos de limpieza, seguridad y protección.
• Realizar otras tareas según sean asignadas.

Requisitos

• Se prefiere experiencia previa en limpieza o trabajos de Janitorial.
• Ser confiable, puntual y capaz de trabajar de manera independiente o en equipo.
• Capacidad para seguir instrucciones y procedimientos establecidos.
• Debe completar satisfactoriamente una verificación de antecedentes criminales y una prueba de drogas.
• Debe ser elegible para trabajar en los Estados Unidos.
