Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors to maintain cleanliness across all areas.
• Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors using appropriate techniques such as pressure washing and specialized cleaning equipment.
• Handle waste disposal and recycling processes efficiently, ensuring proper sanitation standards are met.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly during chemical handling and cleaning procedures to ensure safety.
• Conduct heavy lifting tasks when moving furniture, supplies, or cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas through regular sanitation practices.
• Operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers or pressure washers for deep cleaning tasks.
• Assist with laundry services as needed, including washing linens or uniforms.
• Follow infection control protocols diligently to prevent contamination and promote health safety standards.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and chemicals are stored properly and used responsibly in accordance with safety guidelines.

Experience

• Prior custodial or janitorial experience is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with commercial cleaning procedures.
• Proven ability to handle cleaning equipment such as vacuums, pressure washers, and floor care machines effectively.
• Experience with window cleaning, sanitation practices, and infection control measures is advantageous.
• Knowledge of chemical handling safety procedures and proper use of PPE is essential.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safety standards.
• Customer service skills are beneficial for interacting professionally with staff or visitors when needed.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards.

Pay: $10.00 per hour
