JANITOR

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join the team at P S T P EMS inc. in General Trias City, Cavite. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic environment across our facilities. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for ensuring that all areas of our premises are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation. This position is essential to the overall operations of the company, as we believe a clean workspace is fundamental to productivity, employee wellbeing and the professional image we present to clients and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of all areas including offices, restrooms, corridors, break rooms and common spaces
• Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish in accordance with environmental and health and safety regulations
• Mop, sweep and vacuum floors throughout the facility to maintain cleanliness standards
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors and surfaces
• Dust and wipe down furniture, desks, workstations and other surfaces
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report stock levels to management
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment properly and safely
• Report any maintenance issues, damage or hazards to supervisory staff immediately
• Adhere to all health, safety and environmental protocols whilst performing duties
• Respond promptly to cleaning requests from staff and management

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working as a Janitor or in a similar cleaning and maintenance role
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy items regularly
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, products and equipment
• Familiarity with health, safety and sanitation regulations
• Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills and willingness to follow instructions
• Flexibility to adjust cleaning schedules as needed
