We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor/Worker to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers.
• Handle chemical agents safely during cleaning processes, following all chemical handling safety procedures.
• Conduct custodial tasks including trash removal, dusting, window washing, and sanitation of surfaces to ensure hygiene standards are met.
• Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as repairing fixtures or painting walls in residential or commercial settings.
• Operate cleaning machinery and tools effectively while maintaining equipment in good working condition.
• Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting and manual handling activities to prevent injuries.
• Support facilities maintenance activities as needed to ensure the overall upkeep of the premises.

Requirements

• Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles within commercial, industrial, or residential environments.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and custodial equipment operation.
• Ability to handle chemical agents safely according to safety protocol guidelines.
• Physical capability for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks required for cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and safety compliance.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Customer service skills are desirable for roles involving interaction with building occupants or clients.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
