Responsibilities

• Conduct custodial tasks including trash removal, dusting, disinfecting surfaces, and replenishing supplies to maintain optimal sanitation standards.
• Handle chemical agents safely, following all chemical handling safety procedures to prevent accidents or contamination.
• Operate cleaning machinery efficiently while adhering to safety protocol guidelines for safe lifting practices and manual handling.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks when required.
• Follow established safety procedures during all cleaning activities to ensure personal safety and that of colleagues.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing requests promptly and courteously, fostering a positive experience for all facility users.

Experience

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and effectively.
• Experience operating cleaning equipment and other custodial tools.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices in facilities maintenance.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting techniques.
• Familiarity with safety protocols related to chemical handling and manual handling tasks.
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards.

Pay: $18.00 per hour
