Job Summary

We are seeking a diligent and dependable Janitorial Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards at our Nashville International Airport location, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong custodial skills, experience with cleaning equipment and chemical agents, and a commitment to safety protocols. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the upkeep of high-traffic commercial spaces while adhering to industry safety standards.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Handle chemical agents safely during cleaning procedures, following all safety protocol guidelines.
• Maintain sanitation standards in restrooms, kitchens, and common areas through thorough cleaning and disinfecting.
• Follow established safety procedures during all custodial activities to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

Experience

• Prior custodial or janitorial experience in commercial or residential settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and chemical handling safety procedures.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while adhering to heavy lifting protocols.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and safe use of cleaning chemicals is essential for this role.
