We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to join our dynamic facilities team. Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of offices, hallways, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, waxing, and carpet cleaning to ensure surfaces are spotless and well-maintained.
• Handle waste disposal by emptying trash bins and recycling containers regularly to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Maintain supplies inventory and notify management when stock levels are low to ensure continuous cleaning operations.
• Assist with light maintenance tasks including minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and facility upkeep to support overall building maintenance.
• Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment to promote a safe work environment.
• Support industrial cleaning projects or specialized custodial tasks as needed to meet facility requirements.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles with knowledge of commercial or residential cleaning practices.
• Strong understanding of floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet extraction.
• Familiarity with custodial equipment including vacuums, buffers, scrubbers, and pressure washers.
• Ability to perform facilities maintenance tasks like minor repairs or painting with attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy setting.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues promptly.
