Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers.
• Handle chemical agents safely by following proper handling procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
• Use custodial tools and cleaning supplies effectively to complete tasks efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
• Conduct sanitation procedures including trash removal, dusting, disinfecting surfaces, and replenishing supplies as needed.
• Assist with light maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting to support overall facilities upkeep.
• Follow safe lifting practices when moving heavy objects or equipment to prevent injuries during manual handling activities.
• Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and report any facility issues or safety concerns promptly.

Experience

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial, industrial, or residential settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and pressure washers is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of chemical handling safety procedures and sanitation standards is essential for ensuring safe operations.
• Experience with facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs or painting adds value to your application.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy lifting, chemical use, and equipment operation is required.
• Customer service skills are beneficial for interacting professionally with staff or clients when needed.

Pay: $17.23 - $27.07 per hour
