Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies.
• Conduct routine janitorial duties such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Maintain cleanliness of windows, glass doors, and fixtures to ensure a polished appearance.
• Execute specialized floor care tasks including buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing to preserve flooring quality.
• Support industrial or commercial cleaning projects by handling large-scale cleaning tasks efficiently and safely.
• Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs or minor repairs when needed.
• Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of custodial procedures.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing.
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning standards and industrial cleaning practices.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, extractors, and floor scrubbers confidently.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for maintaining cleanliness standards consistently.
• Good physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
