Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold hygiene standards.
• Operate floor care machinery including buffers and polishers to maintain high-quality flooring finishes.
• Assist with light maintenance duties such as replacing light bulbs, minor repairs, and touch-up painting in residential or commercial settings.
• Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to ensure a hazard-free environment for staff and visitors.
• Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing.
• Support facilities maintenance tasks as needed to ensure the overall upkeep of the premises.

Requirements

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential environments.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and use of cleaning equipment such as buffers and vacuums.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery safely.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Basic understanding of facilities maintenance and minor repair skills such as painting or replacing fixtures is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts.
