Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all designated areas.
• Handle chemical agents safely while cleaning surfaces, restrooms, floors, and other facilities in accordance with safety procedures.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Conduct floor care activities including buffing, polishing, stripping, and sealing floors to preserve their appearance and longevity.
• Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting restrooms, kitchens, and common areas regularly.
• Assist with minor facilities maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs or reporting repairs needed.
• Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning operations and handle heavy lifting with proper techniques to prevent injury.

Requirements

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment operation (including floor buffers), and chemical handling safety procedures.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and moving supplies or equipment.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on sanitation standards and cleanliness.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize daily tasks efficiently.
• Customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when necessary.
• Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices such as basic repairs or painting is a plus.
• Ability to adhere strictly to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment at all times.
